Overview

Profiles are how SRVControl manages your API keys.

How do they work? #

A profile is your panel domain, and an encrypted version of your API key.

You can have more than one profile (maximum of 5), and switch between them at any time. This makes managing servers on different panels super easy.

Your default profile #

This profile is either the very first one you created or one you have set as your default using the /profile default command.

Your default profile is used in DMs with the bot and automatically in Discord servers where you haven’t set an active profile.

Your active profile #

This is a profile you have specifically chosen to use in a Discord server.

Using the /profile use command, you can set an active profile. This will force SRVControl to use that profile in that server.
